meet jacob.
adorable right?
jacob and his family live in zhongshan china where it costs $1700 for jacob to go to school. that's $3400 each year.
he's the boy who inspired kiri to start jacob's scarves, a small business dedicated to "help educate children and change the world."
and they are changing the world
kiri and her husband set off on an adventure around the world at the beginning of this year.
i loved reading about this experience that they had in villa abecia. long story short, kiri was able to come into contact with women in villa abecia that make beautiful scarves. she was so impressed with these women that the scarves they make will be a part of the upcoming bolivian scarf line! this creates a tremendous opportunity for these women to support their families.
i am so proud to be a part of this organization!
i've been so nervous to publish this because it's my first fashion-y post!
so now you get to look at pictures of me in my unreal blanket scarf from jacob's scarves...
just scroll back to jacob's precious face if you get tired of my dorky face haha.
jacket: old navy/ scarf: gifted by jacob's scarves/ jeans: gap (similar)/ wedges: toms
this blanket scarf is perfect for winter! even though spring is on the horizon, there's still some chill in the air out here in good ol' utah! it's the warmest, most ginormous scarf i've ever owned, and the best.
